Hurricane Irma evacuee

As many of you know Florida was hit hard by Hurricane Irma. It was definitely a scary night September 10th here in Jacksonville. Especially for my VERY good friends, Jason, Kym, their almost 8 month old baby Jude, and their dog Chase. At about 5am that morning Chase jumped up on the bed to wake Kym up to water in her bedroom. Water was rushing in throughout the house, the whole neighborhood knee deep water. This neighborhood is considered a "non flood zone". Having to wade water to the backyard of a neighbors house to jump a fence to safety. This little family now has nothing left of a home. They were able to save belongs and anything untouched by water. All furniture is gone and the house is now un-liveable.
I took Chase to come live with me for the time being and Kym, Jason, and Jude are staying with a family member until they can get back on their feet.
I have been devasted over this news and helping them save anything they could and moving their life into a storage unit. I can only imagine how they feel. I decided I would try to reach out to my friends and family and you can reach out to your friends and family to ask for help in this time of need. I have never set up a Go Fund Me acct but knew in my heart it was time to try. Please give ANYTHING you can, to help this little family start their life back over.

Funds will be spent on household furniture, baby supplies, pet supplies, anything that was damaged by flood waters (this house is in a non-flood zone)
