Sick Cats Rescued From Hoarder

So.... Those who know me know that I do cat rescue..... Lots of cat rescue and my heart is for both the ADULTS and the FERALS who are sick and injured. 

I have never backed down from a challenge. I single handedly medicated over 70 cats from a trailer hoarding situation that came down with a very DEADLY case of Upper Respiratory Infection. It spread through the trailer so quickly. Some died.... One in my arms. Out of those 70 cats about 47 were BLACK!! But I found homes for everyone of them. That was 3 years ago.....

Then I did a HUGE trapping for an elderly lady and had over 40 cats in cages in my garage for three weeks getting them through URI too.

Of course anyone who does cat rescue has been through bouts with Pan Luke...... (deadly to kittens and super contagious). Always heartbreaking. 

Then there are broken bones, cats hit by cars, amputations and some beyond help needing euthanizing. I take on such big projects. The ones that most sane rescue people do not. They usually take on KITTENS. My heart again is for the Adults and Ferals. 

Unfortunately my pockets are only so deep. I do work with lots of rescue groups and the Humane Society and various vets including an amazing Emergency Vet that give me discounts but otherwise I DO NOT get any funding. Everything is paid out of my pocket.......

Which brings me to my CURRENT RESCUE PROJECT that I have been working with for FIFTEEN DAYS. "Henry and Friends" I will call it. Henry and four other kitties were dropped off to me litterly at deaths door. I worked long and hard for them. I'm happy to say that Henry who was the worst will pull through. 

I owe several vets money and have several other cats that need my help but I am maxed out. My credit cards are at $8,000.00 and I just can't do any more until I can afford to. I REALLY am the ONLY ONE in this area of Tampa who rehabs and treat ferals and my success rate in finding homes for ADULTS is incredible. I don't just give cats to anyone who wants one either!!! No. I do home visits and Adoption Contracts and tell people NO if I don't feel the home or environment is appropriate for one of MY KIDS!! 

I am not huge on asking for financial help but I REALLY NEED HELP so that I can continue to do what I do. 

Please check out Henry's video. He is FINALLY eating after FIFTEEN DAYS of syringe feeding and giving him countless Sub Q Fluid treatments. I love him with my whole heart and his sister (Sweet Pea) who was almost as bad as him when they were surrendered to me. And Victor and Vinnie who were very sick but no where as bad as Henry and Sweet Pea. 

I just paid to get ALL four tested and Rabies Vaccinations. Now Victor has diarrhea and needs to go and get a fecal. I already de-wormed him but that doesn't seem to be the problem. I just don't have anymore funds.
