Henry needs new knees!

Last month, Henry our 8 year old Yorkie was diagnosed with Stage 4 subluxation of the patella (floating knee caps). There are four levels of severity of a luxating patella. Stage 1 is the mildest; Stage 4 is the most severe. Stage 4 luxating patella describes the worst-case scenario, in which the kneecap sits outside the groove all the time, and won't stay seated in the groove when it is manually popped into place. So unfortunately little Henry needs surgery on both of his knees to relieve his pain permanently. After consultations with different surgeons, we have been told that this surgery will be costly and time consuming, but 100% necessary.  His recovery will be very long with limited leg movement, along with physical therapy and various vet visits. Each leg has been estimated to cost $2,400 with a grand total of $4,800 to fix both of his knees, along with MRI's, physical therapy and other office visits. 

Our poor little babe is in constant pain and immediate surgery is the only way to relieve his pain permanently. With this sudden need for surgery, we unfortunately are not in a financial place to fund the entire surgery so we are asking for any help from family and friends so that Henry is able to get this surgery as soon as possible. 

This sweet little fur baby is our entire world, and I have no idea what I would do without him. Seeing him in so much pain and being helpless is absolutely killing us.
