Henry's fight with cancer
Donation protected
Many of you know Jen and Jeff Wallis and their army of boys. In February, one of their 10 year old twins, Henry, was diagnosed with metastatic papillary thyroid carcinoma. Henry is scheduled for surgery to have his thyroid removed and start cancer treatments on April 1st. He will continue to have daily medical expenses for the rest of his life with the thyroid hormone replacement medications, lifelong testing and followups, upcoming and future treatment for cancer, surgery and hospitalization, and continued labs, scans and studies.
Travel expenses will also add up due to the Wallis' traveling to Salt Lake City from Cache Valley for most, or all, of Henry's treatments at Primary Children's.
If you know Henry, you also know his twin Charlie. These boys are a joy to be around. Henry knows this will forever change his life but he is so positive and resilient. He has not let this stop him. While waiting for his surgery, Henry has stayed active finishing out his basketball season and has started his lacrosse season. He can't wait to beat this cancer and get back to feeling better and living life to the fullest!
Please consider donating to the Wallis family to help ease some of the financial stress during this difficult time.
