Tattoo Artist with throat cancer

I am setting up this fund on behalf of my friend,co-worker and fellow tattoo artist Norm Gardner-who is currently battling throat cancer.As his friends standing by through this ordeal he faces,we recognize that he has always been a hard worker,someone helping others who would never reach out for this help on his own.It's hard for him to accept help so we need to gather around at this time and show support.Being self employed means we have nothing to fall back on,even as shop owners, and let's face it-NOBODY is prepared for cancer.I see him getting up early to drive 2 hours one way for radiation treatment 5 days a week,drive back and then work all day and I know its taking its toll.If he doesn't work he can't support his family,or pay his bills but I worry that he is not taking the time to rest like his body needs.With no financial buffer to do that-how will he have the strength to fight this fight? So we are trying to create that buffer which would ease his financial stress so that he can take the time he needs to heal.His chances of survival are high if he gets to his treatments and takes care of himself.
So please help us to help our friend.And to those of you in our industry-this is one of our own.Reach out and do some good.Any funds not used will be donated to the next person who needs support in battling cancer.
