Hennepin 200 Fundraising

UltraRunning is a selfish sport. Running 200 miles is even more selfish. Perhaps inspiring, definitely selfish, and unbelievably absurd. Therefore, running for SOMETHING makes it easier; running for my daughter and hoping to teach her that anything is possible. Running for a cause. Running for the nature that I luckily get to spend so much time enjoying while I run. This page will take your donation and split it between Defeat the Stigma, a mental health and suicide awareness program, and the Trails for Illinois organization. Nature has always helped me ground myself, it is my meditation, and I wish this for others. In a world where we don't get out in nature enough, perhaps both of these causes are linked. I thank you for your donation in advance as do those who have been affected by suicide.
