The Hempfield School District School Board in Lancaster, PA has voted to erect a 105' cell tower at Rohrerstown Elementary School and continues to operate a similar tower at Landisville Middle School, after the community and professionals have shared significant scientific support of potential harm.
These towers emit RF/EMF radiation. Given their close proximity to the schools (<100 meters) and the prolonged exposure (K-6) of our children, teachers and staff; potential health risks include impaired cognitive function, brain fog, nausea, unwanted hormonal changes, sleep disturbance, electro-hypersensitivity, male infertility, increased miscarriage rates (3 x's), stillbirths, cancer, leukemia, and much more.
There are significant safety issues with the towers themselves from the RF/EMF produced to hazards such as fire risk, tower collapse, theft, fuel spills, ice sheathing, unauthorized entry and climbing of the fence/tower, etc.
These towers will also reduce green space, as they will remove a portion of the recently constructed fitness trail and will hover over the playgrounds and baseball field at RES.
We have retained counsel to help us in our fight against these towers. We have an excellent chance of defeating this. The money you contribute will pay our attorneys' fees and costs.
