As many of you already know, on Friday, May 12th of this year David Vincett suffered a life changing stroke. He was in the hospital for a month, and unfortunately David didn't return home completely healthy. To look at David, he seems physically fine, but the stroke has severely impaired his cognitive function and short term memory, as well as his emotions and behavior. If you've spent time with David or talked to him since the stroke, you know what I'm talking about. This was a life changing event not only for David, but also for his wife Carrie and their 4 beautiful girls, Olivia, Bailey, Kelsey, and Sophia.
David is unable to return to work for the foreseeable future, so what used to be a two income family is now down to only one, and it's not easy to provide for 4 children on one income. The Vincett's were able to take advantage of therapy for David that was offered through their insurance plan, but that benefit ran out in early September, and David desperately needs additional therapy to help him recover. Carrie has the support of family and friends, but at this point it is becoming a severe financial struggle trying to pay for college tuition for two girls, additional therapy for David, as well as the everyday household, family, and school expenses.
Any donation you can make now to the Vincett family in this time of need would be greatly appreciated. This is a great family that is trying to work through a horrible circumstance, and they need our help.
