Tina's Medical Fund

Donation protected
On the evening of July 1st, Tina's teenaged son suffered a severe break to his femur bone. Tina brought him to Johns Hopkins for surgery, as his bone was broken entirely in half. The following day, Tina was in the hospital with her son and while she was there for him, she developed headaches and nausea resulting in vomiting repeatedly. A nurse on the unit suggested she go down to the Emergency Department to get a CT Scan of her head. Upon doing that, it was discovered that she had a bleed in the right side of her brain. She was immediately transferred to the ICU for monitoring. The blood in the brain was causing increased pressure so she went to the OR in order to remove the extra blood. After the surgery, she has continued to improve but will need time for recovery. She is still in the hospital being monitored and has started to receive some occupational therapy.

Tina's son was sent home following his surgery and will also need physical therapy.

Tina is a single mother and works very hard to provide for herself and her son. She is a caring, loyal, genuine and joyful soul.

There was definitely divine intervention involved as Tina was so fortunate to be in the hospital while she suffered this medical emergency.

We are raising money to help her with her medical bills and living expenses as she will be out of work for an unknown period of time, and is the sole provider for herself and her son.

We are so grateful for any and all support provided.
