The Owens family desperately needs your help…
In December 2014 my Mum was diagnosed with breast cancer for the second time at the age of 42. After having a mastectomy, she now needs chemotherapy. She has five children that she loves very much – her eldest Lauren (that’s me!) is 22, Emily is 14, Imogen is 3 and the twins Teddy and Ava are 2.
With the type of treatment my Mum needs she is going to be in the hospital a lot and with three small children it’s going to be really hard for us to look after her as well as them. To help us we really need childcare for the next 6 months. Imogen, Teddy and Ava deserve to have the attention they need as they simply do not understand what is going on around them and they shouldn’t have to suffer any further.
Unfortunately because my Mum has had cancer before there is no savings, no funding and no insurance – there is nothing to help us, except you! Your money would help pay towards the cost of childcare and it would take a huge stress off my Mum while she concentrates on getting herself better as the one thing she is worried about through all of this is how it effects us.
Any help that you can afford to generously give will help, even if it’s just £1 or the £20 you were going to spend on a takeaway it all adds up! Thank you for donating, sharing and most importantly for your kindness and generosity.
