Help the Murillos Get Home

Donation protected
Jason and I, first and foremost, want to say that we are thankful for the community that we have. For all the times you guys have stood by us in prayer, and walked with us through loss and heartache and the best of times.

With that being said, here is what is going on in our lives right now.

As I hit 20 weeks pregnant with the boys, we are overjoyed that we will be meeting them so soon. Only 18 more weeks! As parents, we want the best for them and have recognized that being back in Cape Coral with all of you is the best place to be able to build a foundation of love, trust and hope in God and people.

We are supposed to be moving back to our hearts’ home, in Cape Coral, FL. We spoke to excited parents/grand parents to be, who gave us their word that they’d help us get back home, so there was never an issue! Which was great. Jason and I began to prepare for the move. Jason put his two weeks notice in at work, we used what we had saved and bought a car (because with work and quickly approaching newborns, a car is crucial), we spoke with our apartment complex manager and let them know we would be leaving on the 8th of August. Everything is in place and ready to go.....

The past few days, it is as though a carpet was pulled from under us. The word of those we were relying on has gone, and Jason and I are left scrambling to figure something out for our family. Jason’s last day of work is this Thursday, and we are unable to extend our lease here due to another tenant already signing a lease for our apartment once we move out on the 8th. This leaves us in a place where we have no income and no home, if we can not get to Cape Coral. We have tried considering loans, but since Jason is the only one with income and he is quitting his job here, that’s become a far reach. . I am very familiar with the shelters here in town, and those are only an option for me. Jason would have nowhere to go. Which means, we need to figure out how to make it to FL. Jason already has work in Cape Coral and we already have a home in NW Cape, it’s just the getting there. Because the commitment that was made to us fell through, we are about $2500 short for the move. That includes moving truck and car tow, on road expenses (hotel night for rest, gas and food), and first month’s rent. All of which, was promised to be covered. Jason and I are doing what we can to get there, but our options are very limited here in TX.

With August 8th rapidly approaching, we ask that if you or someone you know is able to help us get back home to Cape Coral, please contact me. If you’re able to just faithfully pray with us, that is needed as well!

I wouldn’t post about this if we had any other option than to reach out. Like I said before, we are beyond thankful for our community there and if it’s just prayers, the Lord promises to be where two or more are gathered in His name. So thanks in advance ❤️❤️
