Neighbors Helping Neighbors

Let's help our neighbors, the Dipietro's!

The Dipietro Family fell ill with influenza beginning on February 25th.  Their two boys and Larry recovered quickly, while Abby continued in a downward spiral.  Abby was admitted to Franklin Memorial Hospital (Farmington) on Saturday and placed in ICU.  She was diagnosed with Pneumonia with Pulmonary Edema and Influenza A.  Due to her lack of improvements, she was transfered to CMMC to be placed in their Intensive Care Unit.

After continued lack of improvements she was placed on a ventilator so that her very inflamed lungs can rest.  Her Doctors are unsure when the ventilor will no longer be needed, however, they believe she will be very weak and it may be necessary for her to complete rehab before going home.  Once she is home, she will be unable to return to work for several weeks.

Abby has not been able to work at either of her jobs since she first fell ill at the end of February.  Larry has missed countless days at his employer from being ill himself and being by his wife's side.  The emotional stress of this medical emergency is enough to handle, not to mention the financial stress of missing weeks of work, medical bills, travel costs, etc.

At this time we are asking for donations to help reduce the financial stress while Abby recovers.  We want them to focus on her health and know that their family and friends love them!  Support the Dipietro's with a donation today!
