Help Bring the Brady\'s Home!

We are raising money to help the Brady\'s move back home to California from Texas.

Thanks for taking a minute to read our story. As you may or may not know, in March of 2009 Jason was offerred an \"advancement opportunity\" to manage a new business unit in Texas. After careful consideration and much research, we concluded that this was a good next step for our growing family, based on the income \"potential\" managers have. Jason\'s company paid for our move to Texas and all seemed well. The first few months looked really promising: Jason\'s business unit was doing far better than expected, Jason proved to the company that he was more than commited by working 6 to 7 days a week for the first 6 months to ensure the success of his unit, so we were really excited to see what the fruits of his labors would unveil. So, what happened next, was the first of many incredibly difficult pay adjustments that Jason\'s company made to their manager\'s compensation plan. For starters, Jason\'s goals increased dramatically, while he was not given additioanl employees to compensate for the \"quota\" increase. Secondly, the actual base pay and bonus structure changed for managers as well. Now, while this did affect all managers, it affected us the most, because, as we already know, we just upped and moved our entire family to Texas and had sacrificed so much more to be in this position. Now struggling month to month to stay afloat we tried our best to have a positive attitude and trusted that everything would turn around. Well we couldn\'t have been more wrong. The \"quota\'s\" continued to go up every month and the chances of making enough money to pay our bills was not realistic. After 1 year we were officially making 33% less money per month than we were making in Ca. It was apparent that we may have made an awful decision by moving to Texas. Jason held on to his management position for 18 months before making a very difficult decision to step down and become a salesperson again. The sales people Jason was managing were making more money than him every month. Stepping down seemed like a \"no brainer\": less stress, less responsibility and finally make the kind of money we moved to Texas to make. I hate to say it, \"wrong again\"! Shortly after Jason stepped down, the first of FOUR pay decreases followed for sales people. Again, this affected all sales people, but affected us the most since we had just made another large career decision. So long story long, we\'re done in Texas and are looking for any help possible to help us get back to our families and friends in Ca. Our friends have done the math and if everyone gives $10 each time they get paid from now until June, we are on our way. Thanks agian for your support and any contribution is greatly appreciated!
