Death row dog needs ACL surgery

2 weeks ago, Teeko found himself in a unfortunate situation. He was in a high kill shelter in TX with little time left. The shelter's relocation manager reached out to us in hopes of rescue. We knew that he would thrive in Colorado so we committed to finding him a loving home. Which we did! Kelli & Teeko have fallen in love with each other and we couldn't be happier for them! Teeko is a very gentle soul, who is very active and loves to be outdoors. Sadly, shortly after Kelli adopted Teeko we found out he has a torn ACL. The vet says it has been torn for 6 months and that his bone has started to grow to overcompensate for his injury. How this went unnoticed is mind boggling to us and we feel terrible that he has been in pain for so long! He needs a TPLO surgery which is about $2,600. Teeko is constantly in pain, and if he doesn't get the surgery he will likely tear his other ACL. We make a promise to give all of our rescues wonderful and happy lives, and we are fully committed to giving Teeko the life he deserves: a life out of pain, stress & uncertainty.
