Help Susie Meet Bravo

Story

I sponsored a child and I have the amazing opportunity to meet him in July of this year! Children's Cup came to our church last year and I was not financially able to sponsor a child. This year, Children's Cup returned and I prayed that God would put the right child in my path. I decided that I was going to wait until after our entire church had the opportunity to choose their child, and then I would take the oldest boy left. Well, Bravo it is and I cannot begin to explain how EXCITED I am to spend an entire day with him. Bravo was abandoned by his father. He has 3 sisters, and an unemployed mother. They are surviving on social grants. I can't imagine the weight that this 12 year old boy is feeling. I can't wait to love on him. His birthday is in June and he is a HUGE soccer fan, so you know that I am going to bring him an American football. I have to teach these soccer fans about real football (just kidding, kindof).  Not only do I have this amazing opportunity, but we as a church raised money to build a carepoint and a Coastal Community Church Campus in Thubelisha, Mpumalanga, South Africa. This carepoint provides food, water, education, medical care, discipleship, and economic development to over 500 kids. We get to go be a part of all the incredible things that are happening there. We get to be the hands and feet of Jesus in a practical way. I get to bring HOPE and LOVE to a bunch of kids that people, including their own parents, label hopeless and unlovable!! I cannot wait to meet these precious children and all of the people of Thubelisha. Please help me get there! Here are some ways that you can:  1. Spread the word to your friends and family. I am not only raising money for my trip, but for all of my friends that have decided to step out in faith and trust that God will provide the money for them to experience everything I talked about.  2. Pray.  I am already preparing myself for some battles to come my way that are going to try to stop me from going on this trip.  I know that God has BIG things that He wants to do in and through me.  3. Give. You can give here (gofundme takes 5% of everything donated so I added to the total cost) OR you can make a check payable to "Coastal Community Church" for a TAX Deduction- just attach a sticky note with my name on it and they will apply it appropriately.
