Help Stinky Linky Get Back On His Feet

Last year we rescued a handsome mutt named Lincoln, aka Stinky Linky. He's a healthy boy at only 1 1/2  years old. Lincoln means everything to us. If you've been lucky enough to meet him or get your face licked by him, you know he's a special dog who only wants to love. 

We took Lincoln to play in the water at our favorite beach in Maine this past Sunday. The poor guy got knocked over by a huge wave and hurt his legs. The impact completely tore his CCL (ACL) in his right hind leg and partially tore his left hind leg. The two vets he's seen have suggested surgery. The procedure is only 50% likely to work in stabilizing his knee and would cost us thousands of dollars we don't have. Our pet insurance will not pay a cent towards anything related to a CCL injury until 12 months of coverage. However, we've found a product we're willing to try out for our best friend.

We want to try the POSH knee braces for both Lincoln's back legs to stabilize his knees while they heal. He can use them while exercising and will likely be able to run again. To pay for these braces, I've opened up a CareCredit card. The funds donated will go solely towards paying back the medical costs of his knee braces, which I have put on this card. 

Though we are not excited to ask for your help, we need it and we cannot express our gratitude enough for the support we've already gotten. We will be so so grateful for a donation of any size. You'll be helping us heal our best friend.
