Steve and Marcia Todd have lived on the corner of 66th and Airline for almost thirty years. They raised four kids in their little green house, welcomed two grandchildren, and ensured the neighborhood birds and squirrels were well-fed. Saturday, June 30th, flood water rushed into their home, filling their house with three feet of water. Unable to get help, Steve and Marcia evacuated their home, wading through the flood to shelter at a neighbor's house up the hill. When they returned to their house, they found their cars washed down the road and into the yard, and their home completely destroyed. They lost family photos and mementos, their furniture, appliances, electronics, holiday decorations, as well as the comfort and safety of their home. With the help of friends and family, they emptied their house, leaving their damaged heirlooms and belongings on the curb, and moved their few remaining personal items into a small apartment.

Steve and Marcia, along with the rest of the metro's flood victims, were unable to purchase flood insurance, and are waiting to hear what, if any, assistance they may be eligible for. This is where you can help! Team Todd would like to raise enough money to help offset the cost of their temporary apartment, as well as provide funds and donations to help Steve and Marcia rebuild their life!
