Stark's Ear Surgery

Stark was found by a local rescue group and transferred to us.  Our vet diagnosed an ear infection on intake and he was started on medication.  Most ear infections clear up within a few weeks, but Stark's kept coming back.  

On recheck, it was discovered that Stark has an inflammatory polyp in his left ear.  It is usually a benign condition, but without specialized surgery (ventral bulla osteotomy), he will suffer with chronic, painful ear infections for the rest of his life.  This surgery will be a cure.

Stark has a family who would like to adopt him after he has had the surgery.  After consultation with a specialist, we were given an estimate of $2000.  We have a tentative surgery date of 1/30/18 if we can raise the money.
