Help Sonni Hopkins

If you are reading this, you probably know and love Sonni Hopkins. If you don't, you are missing out on a really amazing person who has touched many people's lives.


I met Sonni many years ago when we were both working in Wyoming - she on the Union Pacific Railroad, and myself as a miner. There was a large group of us that used to hang out all the time, and we all have lots of wonderful memories together. But now, Sonni needs our support. She recently took a fall that left her with a serious shoulder fracture, and now she can't work for a while. I know she prefers to support herself, but we as her friends need to come together for her right now.


Sonni is 63 years old, and has lived in the same home for 22 years, and has had the same job for 14 full years. Previous to that, she stayed in the same industry for 6 years. She is a very responsible and hardworking person. But because of this setback, her future is in jeopardy if she is not able to pay her bills until she can return to work.
