If you've ever had to stay in the hospital, you know just how trying it all can be.If you haven't had to stay in the hospital, consider yourself very fortunate.
Sean is a strong man who has fought through many trials and tribulations. Sean deserves a full recovery (which will be easier to achieve through your donations).
In August of 2011, Sean was diagnosed with Aplastic Anemia, a rare blood disorder in which his bone marrow has stopped producing red blood cells, white blood cells, and platelets.
He was also recently diagnosed in the beginning of 2013 with PHN (paroxysmal nocturnal hemoglobinuria) which is the lack of a protective protein for the red blood cells, causing a red urine and blood clotting.
Sean has gone through uncountable blood and platelets transfusions, including several different immunosuppressant treatments since September 2011 and has remained a fighter through it all.
In the beginning of July 2013, doctors notified Sean that he is in need of a bone marrow transplant. We, as a family, are asking for your help in becoming a bone marrow donor for Sean (or anyone else you match), or making a financial donation.
