On February 16, 2017, my family received the most heartbreaking news. My mother had been diagnosed with Stage 3 Lung Cancer. The entire family was devastated and could only think about how we were all going to help her survive this.
A mother and a wife that has always worked 2 jobs to make ends meet was suddenly not able to do anything because of her diagnosis. Her doctors told her it was imperative that she took time off from her jobs and focused on getting better. With the costs associated with diseases such as cancer we have been in a financial hardship.
Unfortunately, after countless appointments, visits, and treatments, my mother's condition took another turn. Her cancer metastasized and was now classified as Stage 4.
We've been struggling with costly hospital bills, medications and treatment not covered by insurance. Any and all donations will go towards all of these things and her day-to-day needs. Anything that is given is greatly appreciated. Thank you to anyone that donates or even just prays for my mother.
