Golden Harvest has been part of the Lansing landscape for 69 years. It has held a place of significance to many people in our community for generations. From people bringing in their grandchildren as their grandparents did with them, to people celebrating life events there, and people grieving losses there, it's been an important place for a lot of people over the years.
Time and Michigan winters have caught up with our building and it is not what it used to be. After so many years, the Golden Harvest is in much need of some love and repair. Our roof is done for. The HVAC, plumbing, and refrigeration all need updating. These things keep getting emergency patches but greatly need to be updated properly. Equipment maintenance and daily expenses have also suffered because of the need for sudden repairs.
We hope to stay part of this community for many years to come and need to take care of this stuff in order to continue.
