Help Students in Lebanon

In the past few months, Lebanon has been facing a massive economic collapse. This has resulted in the freezing of money by Lebanese banks, not allowing users to have control over their money.
Many students living in Lebanon, or abroad, depend on this money in these accounts to fund their education. Since they have no access to this money, they are at risk of losing their places in universities, due to a failure of paying their application fees, deposit fees, or tuition fees.
This led to the creation of a student led initiative called Lebanon for Students, founded by Lebanese expats for their brothers and sisters in Lebanon, who are currently suffering due to the situation. This money that is raised will be used towards helping students with the aforementioned reasons above , and perhaps, in the future, we might be able to expand these services to help them with living and additional costs in their respective places of living.
The money will be transferred into a bank account that will have public records, to assure utmost transparency. Once a student has applied for funding, we will then either directly pay their university for the fee, or wire them the money if they have a bank account abroad.
You might ask, " Why help you if we can help the starving people of Lebanon?" Well we say, don't pick over the other. Let's help both. By donating to feed the starving people of Lebanon, you are fueling bodies and keeping them alive. By donating to help our students, you're fueling minds: minds that are essential for Lebanon's vitality in the future.
