Help Charlène rebuild St Martin

Hello,
My name is Xuan Thomas, I’m from France and I’ve been living in Miami since 2008. The purpose of this GoFundMe page is to help my childhood friend Charlène and her family to rebuild their home and business after the travesty they experienced. With your help raising money, I’ll get the funds and make a transfer to them in order to do their repairs in the island of St Martin.
After Hurricane Irma devoured the island of St. Martin, my childhood friend Charlène and her boyfriend Aurélien who have been living there for the past 8 years have found themselves now;
Living in two separate islands. A couple of days after Hurricane Irma finished sweeping through the small island of St Martin, the damaged island was in such state of chaos that it was urged that both women and children be relocated to Guadeloupe.
Charlène, her sister-in-law and her niece were repatriated to Guadeloupe. Aurélien and his brother decided to stay in St Martin to help and also protect the only property they have left.
People have found themselves desperate for resources and shelter - to the point that homes are being robbed and people are being murdered. Men have been left to fend for themselves, to fight for their homes - as Aurélien is doing right now. The increasing fear of the state this island will be after is on everyones mind.
Charlène is planning on going back to St Martin early October to reunite with Aurélien and start from zero. Their goal is to rebuild this beautiful island they call home. To bring back the colors and the life it has lost. See videos and photos. Help us reach their goal.

Après le passage destructeur de l'ouragan Irma sur l'île de Saint-Martin, mon ami d'enfance Charlène et son companion Aurélien se retrouvent maintenant séparé.
Quelques jours après que l'ouragan Irma ai fini de balayer la petite île de St Martin, l'île étant dans un tel état de chaos que le rapatriement des femmes et des enfants en Guadeloupe était impératif. Charlène, sa belle soeur ainsi que sa nièce ont été rapatrié en Guadeloupe. Aurélien et son frère ont décidé de rester sur place à St Martin pour aider et aussi protéger les seuls biens qu’ils leur restent.
L'objectif de Charlène est de retourner début Octobre à St Martin pour retrouver Aurélien et recommencer à zéro. Reconstruire cette belle île qu'ils appellent la maison. Récupérer les couleurs et la vie perdues de St Martin. Voir vidéos et photos. Aidez-nous à atteindre leur but!
