<div>My name is Israa Saad. I’m a mother of three beautiful children—Anwar (8), Ahmad (6), and Rahaf (3). I’m also a refugee from Gaza, currently living in St. Louis, Missouri, with a generous host family who has taken us in during the most difficult time of our lives.

<div>In December 2024, I arrived in the U.S. with my youngest daughter, Rahaf, who is now three years old. She is a double amputee—both of her legs were lost when our home in Gaza was bombed. We came here through the support of PCRF (Palestinian Children’s Relief Fund) so that Rahaf could receive the care and rehabilitation she needs to learn how to walk again.

<div><br />
</div>
<div>I came alone. I had to make the impossible decision to leave behind my husband and two sons, Anwar and Ahmad, in Gaza, so that Rahaf could get the life-saving treatment she needs. Every day, I carry the weight of being separated from them, and every day, I dream of the moment we can be reunited.

<div><br />
</div>
<div>This campaign is to help me return to a place of hope and stability. A place where Rahaf can grow up surrounded by her father and brothers, and where we can begin to heal—physically, emotionally, and as a family.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>It’s about ensuring Rahaf continues receiving the treatment she needs, and giving me the ability to care for her while reclaiming our lives with dignity. Your support will help us navigate this incredibly difficult chapter and take the first steps toward a brighter future.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I never imagined I would need to ask for this kind of support. But in moments like this, there is no other choice. Your contribution—no matter the size—will be a building block in the new life we’re trying to create.

<div><br />
</div>
<div>I want to thank PCRF for giving my daughter the chance to walk again. Their support has been our lifeline.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>And to you—thank you for reading, for caring, and for standing with my family during this incredibly hard journey.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>One hundred percent of your donated funds will benefit our family.
</div>

</div>
<div>With deep gratitude,
</div>
