Help me give aid in Puerto Rico

Hurricane Maria left the island of Puerto Rico virtually destroyed with infrastructure taking a massive hit. The government has not provided any estimates of how long it will take to repair the electric grid there, or restore cellular service.  They could be looking at four to six months before full reconstruction of the power grid is completed.

 Landline service was finally (partially) restored on 9/24/17 in the city of Ponce, and we finally heard from my Mother, Aunt and other family members. While they are alive, it's apparent that they face a road of hardships we here in the states cant fully comprehend. I'm asking for your help to minimize that hardship. I would use all funds to: 

A. Travel to Puerto Rico & take an accurate assessment of immediate needs in the neighbourhood. Most likely chainsaws, water, MRE's, portable lighting, hand pumps, and batteries. 
B. Provide immediate aid/relief to family and residents in the surrounding community of Jardines Del Carribe, Puerto Rico.
C. Secure resources for the long haul such as a generator(s), water filters, batteries, lighting, and other essential supplies. 

A good friend of mine has offered to fly his small plane and make multiple trips if necessary, in order to get aid in places where it's difficult to reach. 

If there was ever a chance to donate to a cause where you know exactly what your dollars are going towards, and who they will effect, this is it. Every dollar will be accounted for and there will be 100% transparency.
