Help my Dad Beat the "C" word

My dad firstoff, is a fighter! He battled this condition back in 2014 and did very well. Unfortunately, he is now back in the hospital and I am starting this GoFundMe account to try and raise money for him so he has one less thing to worry about. I will let him explain the situation from here on out:
"Last Saturday I fell in the shower and broke a rib which is what landed me in the hospital. They discovered a stage 4 tumor had become infected and I may only have had days to live. I find myself in the same situation as 2014 but in no condition to bounce back as quickly or painlessly. Anything given to me will go a long way to helping me keep the lights on, the Internet connected, and my rent paid.
My life has been taken away and given back to me once again. You all know me as one who never gives up hope and I know I will "get it back. " I feel like George Bailey in "It's a Wonderful Life" sometimes and typing this from my hospital bed, on my little iPhone, brings tears to my eyes. I don't see it as a handout, but as a hand up.
I still believe God has great things in store for me. I absolutely KNOW that all your comments and expressions of love are what helped me to have a smooth surgery and have sent the best care my way. I can't begin to tell you how much LOVE I have for all of you. Please love each other as you love your best friend or your favorite pet. Every gift will be returned with a special Thank You when I am up to it. I believe God will see your kindness and will reward you for your generosity. MANY thanks and much appreciation... and as always, ALL THE LOVE my strong and healthy heart can give. .. -Peter"
