Help Pastor Noe pay rent

Donation protected

UPDATE
Thank you again for your gifts and prayers toward Pastor Noe's release!  Due to the injustice of his detention, his family was unable to pay their bills, as they are still awaiting his renewed work permit. Would you consider a donation to help the family pay their November bills?  We are so grateful for the Body of Christ and so many who have faithfully advocated on behalf of their family and others.
======================================
Matthew 25 So Cal is thankful for the release of Pastor Noe Carias from the Adelanto Detention Center on September 21, 2017 at 6:30 pm, where he had been detained since July 24, 2017.

Pastor Noe Carias rejoins his family, community and congregation, to continue fighting his immigration case.

The broad network of evangelical and other faith leaders who have been supporting Pastor Carias commit to continue their support of and advocacy on behalf of Noe Carias and others facing deportation.

Pastor Noe’s release was made possible by the hundreds of Matthew 25 So Cal volunteers who prayed for the family and for ICE leadership, made phone calls and sent letters to ICE to advocate for his release, visited their local legislators to share his story and ask legislators for help with his case and walked with the Carias family providing spiritual, financial and emotional support during the time Pastor Noe was in detention.

Simply put the Body of Christ came together to walk with the vulnerable and stood by them to ensure justice was done.

However, there are thousands of families in our churches and communities throughout this country who are living in fear of family separation and the evangelical church needs to stand with them until our immigration system is changed and we have effective, logical and humane policies.

Petition for Pastor Noe Carias Mayorga

Dear Friends of Matthew 25:

We write to request your urgent financial support to help stop the deportation of Pastor Noe Carias Mayorga.

Although Matthew 25 helped Pastor Noe receive temporary protection from deportation in April, he is scheduled to appear again before ICE in two weeks. Unfortunately, Pastor Noe’s new petition to extend this temporary protection from deportation has been denied, and we need your help to convince immigration officials to allow him to stay in the country with his U.S. citizen wife and two U.S. citizen children. You can read more about Pastor Noe’s case on our website: https://www.matthew25socal.org/noemayorga/

We are hopeful that Pastor Noe still has a winning case, but we need to raise legal funds to help pay for his attorney fees. Our goal is to raise $10,000 towards these legal expenses. Whatever is raised in excess of what is required for Pastor Noe’s case will be used to establish a legal fund to help pastors and others facing unjust deportation.

Would you please consider donating towards the Matthew 25 legal fund for Pastor Noe?

Sincerely,

Rev. Dr. Robert Chao Romero, Erica Romero, Rev. Alexia Salvatierra, Pastores Melvin and Ada Valiente, and the Matthew 25 So Cal team.

Petición para el Pastor Noe Carias Mayorga

Queridos/as amigos/as,

Sinceramente,
Rev. Dr. Robert Chao Romero, Erica Romero, la Rev. Alexia Salvatierra, Pastores Melvin y Ada Valiente, y el equipo Matthew 25 So Cal.
