Fire Relief

“It has destroyed the town.”

That’s what California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection spokesperson Scott McLean said when, in November 2018, the Camp Fire burned through Paradise, California.

According to the LA Times, the fire burned more than 7,000 structures in Paradise, a community of about 27,000 residents. The devastation is nearly unimaginable. Nearly all the town’s residents have been displaced and are now in dire need.

We’re California Regional MLS, located in Chino Hills, CA, the real estate multiple listing service for Paradise. We make it our goal every day to help real estate professionals in their work to make homeownership a reality for Californians. We created this fundraiser in partnership with the Paradise Association of REALTORS® in service of that goal.

For many in Paradise, the dream of homeownership has been shattered. It’s our calling to help.

The Paradise AOR is an integral part of the region’s community. We’re working closely with Paradise AOR’s staff and Board of Directors to ensure funds are distributed to those in need in and around Paradise.

Update: Between November and December, California Regional MLS distributed the equivalent of the entirety of the funds raised through this campaign in association with Paradise AOR's staff and Board of Directors. With your help, CRMLS was able to distribute 125 gift cards to those in need in addition to laptops and other technology pieces to replace items damaged by the Camp Fire.
