Hello! My name is Mickie Elliott (if you do not know me, I'm the curly-haired performer in the middle of my campaign picture), and a majority of my life is devoted to color guard and the marching arts. I was born and raised in Metro Atlanta, Georgia, I'll be turning nineteen on April First, and I love color guard more than anything!
What is the Marching Arts? This past summer I marched with Spirit of Atlanta Drum and Bugle Corps in our 2014 production, Magnolia!
I was a member of the color guard, on the dance and flag line. It was a truely incredible season with around 200 extremely talented performers, volunteers, and staff!
I'm hoping to do that again for my second season, and I'm asking you for help to get there! I'm currently having money issues. My father passed away in March of 2014, and my mother is trying to keep things going for our family, but paying for my dreams of continuing color guard is not an option for her right now.
I'm extremely grateful for the support from my family and friends, along with my Spirit of Atlanta family. This summer really helped with the grieving process. I have been surrounded by so many gracious, helpful, amazing people.
Before my 2014 summer, I was fundraising up until the last three days before I left (on May 23rd) to move in with Spirit of Atlanta. I am hoping to march with the Spirit of Atlanta color guard for the 2015 season! Please consider helping me out in marching with this amazing organization! Any amount is grately appreciated.

Currently, I have paid for my audition fees and one of my tuition payments for Spirit of Atlanta. I would like to fundraise a majority of fees for the Spirit of Atlanta Drum and Bugle Corps!
