Help Us Surprise Our Parents.

Donation protected

Our father, Joe Thomas, has worked since he was 10 year's old to help provide for his family at the time.  He has since worked in factories for 40+ year's to provide for ours. 30 years being in A fiberglass plant, not saying it's related, but sure did not help.  He has since developed Late Stage 3/E-4 COPD and Pulmonary Edema.   It's all he can do to walk from one end of the house to the other, but we are working on getting treatment's and medications to help make this process easier on him.  I know the stress from the bill's and his feeling of "letting the family down" is getting the best of him and we are trying to make it A lot less stressful on them so he can heal up quicker and we can have our father, pa-pa, and friend back.

He was let go from his place of employment for his health reason's which was A built up of Carbon Monoxide poisoning from an undetected leak in his work truck.  He was admitted to the hospital for A week and the doctor's had gotten it all out of his blood and found the diagnosis and things are getting better within time, just slowly.  He had signed up for disability back in June as soon as all this was found out and we still have not heard anything back from them and quite honestly, about to lose everything, as far as the car goes, our only means of transportation, the rent on the house for the next 2 months if it comes that quick, and the electric bills. I know people have it worst but they've always worked hard to  make sure we had everything growing up and now is the perfect time to surprise them in A way they would never imagine.  Disability said it could take another 5-6 month's before thing's would start being processed as their is A long waiting list and intensive background check, to make sure people are qualified, as his Doctor's clearly signed and stated that he was A prime candidate and has been taking the qualifying exams.  Now he is just waiting on them to return the call or mail and they just keep stating he's on A waiting list.

I was in A bad wreck back in January and shattered my hip and my left leg, so my parent's had to use what saving's they had set back to help me during recovery as I was off work for the next 6 month's, now that I'm back to work and mother is semi-retired, so she's working part-time, between my checks and my mothers, it's not enough to cover everyday living expenses and the bill's and trust me, we do NOT live well above our means by any means. Why this is so important to us, we want to show them how much we appreciate their help and how, yes, it's ok to ask for help sometime. We are trying our hardest to make this happen.

My parent's do not know about GoFundMe, let alone, us putting this on here,  I know it's A shot in the dark, and I've never, ever, been one to ask for A handout but this would help our family out tremendously until my father's disability kicks in and help alleviate the stress that I know they both are going through as far as figuring bill's out.  It's paying for the car insurance, rent, electric, cable for the next 4 months with Disability taking forever.  All my check's I work for (40 hours), go straight to the household to help make sure we can get by.  I am willing to exchange work whether it's web-design, SEO, Data Entry, etc. to anyone that donates. All you have to do is comment, I have years of experience and this is the only way I know how to show my appreciation beyond THANK YOU!

Family to us is more important than any materialistic item's so by doing this, It would mean the world to me to show them, hey, yes it's true, there are still good people left out there and here is some extra cash to take care of things until we get back on our feet and of course film their reaction, as it will totally catch them off guard.  I can provide proof of everything, as I understand in today's age, there are many scammers and rip-off's that take away from families  that could actually use the help and benefit from society.  I know most are hesitant, me included, but I promise this is one family that will benefit from this and will show you the reaction, whether they like people seeing them cry or not.

Thank you for your time.  Even if you decide not to donate, I appreciate your time reading all of this. Just please share, we just really want things to get back to normal for them all while surprising them at the same time.  I truly appreciate it sincerely.
