Bolivia Missions Trip

This September, I have the amazing opportunity to travel to Cochabamba, Bolivia with my church through Compassion International. We will spend a week there visiting our sister church, assisting their VBS, helping out around the community, and talking and praying with the people of Cochabamba.

I will also have a chance to visit our sponsor child, Cristian. Through Compassion, by God’s grace, we have been able to provide Cristian with an education, food, medical care, a church community, and a chance to learn about the gospel of Jesus Christ. And for the first time since we began writing letters back and forth with his family more than two years ago, I now have the opportunity to meet him in person.


To do this, I’m asking for your help: First for your prayers as my church and I make preparations for the trip, but also for your financial contribution. Please pray and consider whether you’d like to donate to the trip. Your contributions will help cover the expenses of travel, room and board, and the facilitation of Compassion.

I’ve been fervently brushing up on my Spanish in the hopes that I’ll be able to communicate directly with Cristian and his family while I’m there. I’m overjoyed at the possibility of meeting Cristian and serving the people of Cochabamba in September.

A: They will go toward other costs of the trip, including passport fees, travel visa fees, vaccinations, and other medical expenses. Funds beyond that will continue to help with other costs, like general travel preparations and small toys to hand out to children in Bolivia.
