Production Camera Upgrade

I make documentaries and industrial videos for Commercial, Non-Profit Community Organizations, and Christian Ministeries. Please click here to see examples of my work . I haven't upgraded my basic production shooting camera since December of 2007. Although my Canon XL - H1 production HD camera has served my needs well, it has been 10 years since I acquired it and it is now partially damaged and functioning on life support. I am therefore compelled to upgrade to the current DSLR camera technology in order to remain technically relevant and compatible with current multi-media web production and post production methods. Without a dependable, fully functioning instrument to accomplish principal photography with, I will be effectively unable to work. Upgrading to a modern DSLR camera enables me to shoot broadcast quality video which will benefit at least two local Christian Ministries, for which I am engaged to shoot much needed video, as well as being able to generate income from shooting industrial videos for local businessess to offset expenses. After much research, I have determined The Canon Model EOS 1 D "C" for Cinema Series DSLR camera is the most reasonable choice of instrument to meet my production needs. My requirement to acquire said camera upgrade is immediate. I am in pre-production on two videos (One for the Local Salvation Army, and one for another Christian Ministry based in Victoria, B.C.) Unfortunately, this type of camera production gear is fairly expensive. I would be very greatful for any assistance you may consider at any amount you wish to donate.
