Help Malee & Fam

Malee is now 11 years old. 
She's an amazing artist & is a fraternal twin to a super cool brother named Kaien.

Malee also has Alagille Syndrome (a rare, genetic multi-system disorder), which has made her a warrior...no doubt...but it also granted her numerous surgeries, a biliary ostomy bag, and then liver failure.

In Nov 2018, Malee was taken to the ER via ambulance after nearly bleeding out on the bathroom floor one morning before school.
One week later, after several more emergency bleeds & a blood transfusion at that hospital, Malee was taken by ambulance to a hospital in Chicago.  
After returning home to Iowa briefly after an initial stabilization survey, Malee was then airlifted back to Chicago in March 2019 to await a liver transplant.

Through all of this, Malee’s family has been by her side in Chicago.
This means that while Tiffany, Kelly, & Kaien are all fighting right alongside Malee, they are also displaced out of state, managing their responsibilities back home, & are without easy access to food, lodging, clothes, & daily necessities.
And this immediate hit is outside the scope of the medical debt that is accruing every hour that Malee receives her lifesaving critical care.

In early July 2019, Malee finally received her liver transplant!!  However, she has since endured numerous, severe complications requiring numerous additional surgeries, multiple blood transfusions, & dialysis.

In addition, Malee’s mom, Tiffany, works as a nurse in Cedar Rapids, but is going to lose her job this week, since she is unable to leave Malee’s side due to numerous life threatening complications in the hospital.

So...if you have ANYTHING at all to give, it would be a huge help to Malee & her family.   

Even if we just scrape up some coffee money to keep her parents awake, that would be a tremendous help for this family in need. <3
