Help Us Save Major's Leg

On the evening of December 10, 2017 Deneille Basualdo and Ashlynn Mank were traveling home from a day of hiking in Ocala, Florida. While commuting on a busy highway they saw what appeared to be an injured animal on the side of the road. They pulled over to see if the animal was okay, and sadly he was crying and limping. This puppy didn't try to escape, or defend itself; he willingly allowed Deneille to pick him up and carry him to the car. On the morning of December 11, 2017 the dog was brought to the veterinary hospital. After extensive blood work, x rays, and examinations the vet concluded that the (approximately 5 month) old puppy had experienced some massive trauma to his back, right leg; his leg has been dislocated and the femur is broken. We all know what happens to dogs with injuries like these if they are turned over to shelters, especially this breed. The estimated cost of surgery to fix this puppy's leg is $3,000-$4,000. We know that we may not raise that amount, but if you have anything to give towards the recovery of this innocent dog, it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
