<div>On Sunday night, April 13, 2025, a highly sophisticated group of thieves broke into the store and wiped out everything. They left him with just $30 in the register. Millions of dollars in inventory — his entire livelihood — gone in minutes. No insurance. No backup. No safety net.

<div>But let’s be clear: Q didn’t choose to go uninsured. He was forced into that position by a system that has abandoned small businesses — especially in California. In recent years, insurance companies have been fleeing the state or pricing coverage so outrageously high that it's simply unaffordable, particularly for high-risk businesses like jewelry stores. California’s policies have made it nearly impossible for hardworking entrepreneurs like Q to protect themselves.
