Kerala is witnessing the worst flood in its history. Red Alert has been issued to all 14 districts, with all 44 major rivers overflowing, all 33 major reservoir shutters opened and almost all places inundated by incessant rains.
Death toll in state has risen to 164 since August 8. Nearly 2,23,000 people are living in 1,568 relief camps across the state.
It hurts me to sit in the comfort of my home in Australia while my friends , family and relatives faces the wrath of mother nature in Kerala. I want to support the state I was born-Kerala as much as possible. The damage has been so extensive that we need every bit of financial help for the unfortunate victims and the state to rebuild itself.
