Help my Mother Beat Cancer

In September of 2016, my mother, Karen, was diagnosed with Stage 4 Terminal Lung Adenocarcinoma. Today, we are trying to raise money to purchase alternative medicines in hopes of keeping her alive.

We were absolutely sure of her recovery in the beginning, and even after the first few Chemos failed. But as more treatments did not work, time became of the essence. That brings us to now. The cancer in my mother's lungs has progressed to a point where the doctors have given up on saving her, and instead want to make her comfortable until she passes. 

My mother has spent her entire life caring for others. She has touched more lives than I can count, always helping and leaving a mark. My friends know her as "mom," her friends become family, and she is my best friend. She is very loved.

They have given her "days to weeks" to live.

Now, we as a family are a stubborn bunch, and won't go down without a fight. We are trying to get my mother alternative medicines, and enough of it to potentially save her life, and rid her of the cancer. We are trying to raise $4500 to get my mother through a few months of treatments. Hopefully, by then, the cancer will be gone. This is a long haul, and not a sure-shot, but we are good at hoping. I hope you all are, too.
