For sometime Jesse has been dealing with his addiction to Heroin. This has put him in many bad places, to put it in perspective, less than 2 months ago he was homeless in San Francisco playing guitar in the cold to make enough money to eat and sustain his addiction. After many concerted efforts God helped us touch his heart, but not in the traditional sense, Jesse almost died.

His heart was days away from contracting a disease that would have changed this entire message I am writing. Instead this sickness was his wake up call. Jesse finally allowed his parents to bring him home after this traumatic hospitalization, on one condition, that he attended a very strict rehab program called Sober Ranch. This program is sponsored by AA and in conjunction with the Rock Church. It is waaaaaay up on a mountain top, far from civilization and now he has the opportunity to be clean again.

At a cost.

The price for such a program is $5,000 a month. Currently Jesse is almost done with the first month. The average graduation is about 3 months ($15,000 ) and with other medical bills, and Jesse's past debts there is a lot for Orlando and Stephanie to handle. Angela and I wanted to help, but they keep fighting us, so we wanted to show them how many people would help just like us if they knew that the Lafica's needed it.

Jesse is my little brother, and most of you know him as this genius musician, but today he is someone in need. I want to let you all know we thank you ahead of time, because we know how close knit this community is and without all of you he wouldn't have a reason to heal.
