James fight with cancer continues

As many of you know James was diagnosed with colon cancer back in mid 2015 he was able to get a successful operation on 3/24/2016 without insurance but was unable to get any treatment because of no insurance he was seen by 7 independent oncologist and almost $1000.00 in doctors fees to be turned down by all of them. Why? Did not have insurance or the cash to pay for chemotherapy which runs in the neighborhood of $100,000.00 plus. Was also told that they would not accept Medicare or Medicaid because they make no money and was denied from all 7 doctors. Needless to say he’s back in the hospital with now 2 more masses and waiting on surgery  he now has insurance to cover the surgery at VCU in Richmond VA and will be covered for treatment but will be responsible for 20% of the bill plus other medicines that he will have to have. James is currently trying to get either SSD or SSI (Social security) he has been denied for both as they said we need to prove he is disabled. We are currently looking for a no win no fee lawyer to take his case but could take 2 or 3 years to make this happen and James doesn’t have that long to wait at this point.
