Help Jalen Regain His Momentum

On Wednesday February 28, 2018, someone went into my car and stolen my valuables from my trunk. Among the items that were stolen, my work and personal laptop (w/ editing software), my external hard drive, my scripts, and my journal were the things that hurt the most to be taken from me.
Since my car was parked in a guest parking space in an apartment complex, I was hopeful that securing footage and working with the detective on my case would lead to the return of my belongings. When my detective retrieved the footage, it showed the crime taking place, but unfortunately the video quality was not good enough to view the license plates of the thieves that got away.
Short of a miracle happening, my items and files are gone.
As a creative, I want to do just that: create. While my creativity and ideas haven't been taken away, the tools and vehicles to bring them have been and I want to regain the momentum I had prior to the crime.
After going back and forth on whether or not I should, I've decided to humble myself and ask for help via standing up this GoFundMe page. I will have the page up for a week and move forward with getting new equipment with whatever amount is raised.
People say this all the time (and they are right), but anything helps. If you can't give money, sharing also helps.
