Hi, my name is Kahlil
Okay I'll be totally transparent with you guys, I'm trying to go to The University of New Haven and be the FIRST of my family to actually go to college. I am fighting to pursue a career in the Computer Science field. New Haven is the holy grail of all schools for me and they have been very kind to me with financial help. I have received about 25,000 dollars in scholarships from the school and the government and about 5,000 in loans from fafsa, I still need 24,000 dollars by July 25th to go. This is just for the first year. Of course the grind does not stop here! I will be steadily applying for scholarships and grants still to cut down on the tuition and fees but any and everything helps. I've applied for different student loans but as a fresh 18 year old with no credit whatsoever to my name.. I can't seem to get accepted for the loan WITHOUT a consigner. I know NO one financially able to help me. My family wishes me the best however I do not have the financial help some other kids may have been fortunate enough to have. I am not the type to give up on anything. I am definitely not expecting to make 24,000, I would would feel blessed to make even a portion of it. I and my family would appreciate any help you guys can offer. I used to think gofundme's were for scammers, now I find myself needing one of my own. Please and Thank everyone for their kind help .
