Help 4 Rebeca after Hurricane Maria

Life after Hurricane Maria is different now for my youngest sister and ALL people in Puerto Rico. What they are going through everyday just to live simply is a tremendous challenge. We are thankful that she is able to be resilient and keeps trying her best to make sure her children have a safe place to sleep each night. We are thankful that a neighbor opened their door to my family that dreadful morning when she, her husband and 2 sons, 12 & 4 had to swim against the current several times to get to higher ground. I don't event want to think about what would have happened if they did not have steel gates to hold onto. 6 feet of water flooded my sister's home in less than 30 minutes. Every day she stays with a friend or neighbor. There is no power or water to clean themselves or clean a room to make it livable. She is a fighter, her family is strong and they will get through this!

      Several friends have asked how they could help. I have created this account so she would have access to any donations as soon as possible. Right now she needs a generator, a deep freezer and a dry mattress. They could run the electric plant during the day and the freezer would not allow the food to spoil.
