Assistance for Meg and her family

On December 13th, Meg picked Salaam up from the park while he was in the midst of a medical emergency. Sal was unable to stand, extremely low blood pressure, disorientation, among other concerning symptoms lead to Meg calling an ambulance and Sal was rushed to the hospital.
During his evaluation, the doctors found lesions on his brain - the symptoms of which coincide with behavioral and medical symptoms Salaam has been experiencing for some time.
Meg is now in the midst of appointments at the Mayo Clinic to have Salaam’s brain scanned. She will be spending the next forceeable future working with doctors and clinics to find out what is happening and what the next course of action can be.
This is causing Meg to be unable to do any of her work, jeopardizing not only rent, groceries, and necessities being covered, and while presents for the children are being covered by two churches, this time of year is always more financially precarious.
