Helping Dad Fight.

My dad Charley Clinton, a hard working man with a small farm and many other jobs, was diagnosed with lung cancer back in December 2017. This was hard news for our whole family to take after he worked so hard to quit smoking 9 years ago. However upon the diagnosis the Dr.'s told us he had stage 1 and that surgery should fix everything. Two weeks ago on March 1st 2018, the surgeon removed the upper lobe of his left lung and after a four and half hour surgery his recovery began. So we though....  On Friday March 9th just 9 days after surgery the Dr. called my parents in for a visit. That’s when he explained that things were worse than they had originally thought. The one tumor they found in the beginning was bigger than it had been measuring and they also found two more tumors. Along with the tumors the removed 23 lymph nodes that showed to be positive. The Dr. explained that his cancer was stage three and that he would have to undergo chemo treatments. Wow!!! Not what we were expecting to hear that day. You must know that we put all our hope and trust in the plan that God has laid out for his life. So I know my dad will be ok no matter what.  His treatments will start April 4th 2018 and as I mentioned he is a farmer. He relies on making hay in the summer to help with the demanding financial needs of farm life. I would like to raise money to help with his farm finances, (equipment payments and such) as he will be very sick at the time he is usually working the hardest. We live in a great community with lots of people willing to help feed cows, mow yards, and even bale hay. I would just like to take the stress of wondering if someone will have time to help and give him the comfort knowing his bills will be taken care of. I have never done anything like this before. I wish I could just hand him the money straight from myself. I love him so much and just want to make his fight as stress free and resting as it can be. More importantly than any money, I am asking for prayer!!! Thank you for any help and may God bless you greatly!
