<div>On April 24th, Miriam and Brian received the news that no parent ever wants to hear — their son, Zander, has been diagnosed with leukemia.

<div>They are currently staying at Sydney Children's Hospital Randwick, where Zander has begun treatment. Doctors have advised that Zander will need to remain in hospital for an extended period, with chemotherapy expected to keep them there for almost 200 days this year and 1-2 Weeks at home between treatments.
