Helping wotton resident that was robbed by rogues

On Monday 19th October at 10:00 am two male suspects called at the victims home. The victim was told that a tile on his roof needed to be repaired and quoted the price of £3000. When this was accepted a further £2000 was added to the cost. Regrettably the victim paid this outrageous quote up front and was told that the work would be carried out the following day.
A third male then attended the address on the 20th October 2020 at around 10:00am. The victim permitted this man to enter and was shown a video clip of the work which this suspect said he would carry out.
Clearly this was just a distraction tactic as this third suspect left the address a little later after which the victim discovered that he had been burgled with many items of sentimental value, and more cash, stolen from his bedroom.
All three were white men, some in work men’s clothing and one wearing a fawn coloured anorak with red a white and white band.
These two offences have caused great distress to an elderly Wotton Under Edge resident and we would very much like to hear from you if you can help us to identify these wretched thieves.

Do not allow works to be done by Traders going door-to-door offering services that you have not specifically organised.
