Helping with a medical emergency I didn't expect

Dear friends,

Let me introduce myself to you! My name is Lynn Williams. I am a fabulous nonbinary woman living my best life in East Lansing, Michigan. At 35, I never thought I could be as blessed with life or free in my own skin as I have been.

Unfortunately, I am one of just four people in Ingham county who has been diagnosed with Monkeypox. For those, who don't know, monkeypox is not necessarily a sexually transmitted infection. It's a virus that's spread by close skin to skin contact, including during sex.

This virus is no joke. It's caused sores all over and partially inside my body. It itches, and it is painful too. I have fevers and chills. Not to be too graphic I am having difficulties eating and going to the bathroom.

Unfortunately, this virus is so infectious that I have to isolate and cannot go to my job. It could be weeks before I can go back to work.

You all know, a girl's gotta work to keep a roof over her head, and food in her belly. Not being able to, I have reluctantly decided to start this to help me pay my bills for the next month.
