Help for Vladiana

Hello,
A few years ago, Catrina and I lived in Romania for a couple of years. Catrina was doing Feldenkrais work, and at some point we met a wonderfully full of life little girl, Vladiana.
Unfortunately, she had number of serious health issues, mostly due to a tethered spinal cord, and kidney problems. These conditions were not acquired, she was born with them...hence, she never knew life without pain, discomfort, and often social stigma.
Needless to say, both my wife and I fell in love with her, and in some sense adopted her as our soul-child. She continues to be our far away child, and we will always keep our eyes upon her, to be there when she needs help.
Vladiana's mom is an exceptional mother, but a woman with her own serious health problems. A single mom, she tries everything in her power to provide for Vladiana, but she can hardly keep up - considering the constant medical care needed, the cost of living in general, and the lack of consistent government support for cases such as hers and Vladiana's.
When we met them, they were living in (the middle of the winter) a cold apartment, without heat or hot water most of the time. I asked one of my old friends and students to help out, and he offered his apartment as a temporary solution. Now few years later, my friend has to let got of his apartment, and Vladiana and her mom will have to once again move, in the middle of the winter.
This campaign is to raise money for their living situation, to help with the cost of rental and monthly maintenance for a small apartment or studio. The amount stated as a "goal" does not cover any medical needs or anything else.
Our small plea to you all, is to help us raise the minimum amount needed to secure a decent living situation, so that Vladiana's health could remain at least constant and not deteriorate due to the lack of a safe home, warm, and hot water.
We are building a Facebook page where we will post updates, pictures, some videos hopefully, and most importantly - artwork created by Vladiana who is - at the age of 10 - a quite an artist.
We are mostly sharing this campaign with people we personally know, and who personally know us. We count on your trusting us and knowing us, that your support - as little or as generous as it may be - will be put to a very good use.
Please do share the fundraiser's page, and the Facebook page as well, with the people you personally know, and people whom you may think might be in the position to help us help Vladiana.
For us, this is a very sensitive endeavor. We were planning to adopt her, but the paperwork in Romania and the conditions are unfeasible at this moment for us. We would still like to become her legal guardians, in case anything happens to her mother. So as you see, for us, she is a sense, family.
We are placing much of our hope in helping Vladiana, upon your support, and we also hope that - as you may begin to know her through her drawings and stories posted on Facebook - you will too, take an interest in her, and become a small part of her life.
