<div>On September 13, 2025, our lives changed in a way we could never have imagined.

</div>

<div>My partner and I were the victims of a brutal and senseless assault—an event that left us physically injured, emotionally shaken, and mentally devastated. The trauma from that night is something we are still trying to understand and heal from.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>While my partner continues to recover, the impact on me has also been overwhelming. The physical, mental, and emotional toll was so severe that I was unable to work for two months. During that time, our lives fell into survival mode. The bills didn’t stop, the rent didn’t pause, and important responsibilities were forced to take a back seat as we focused on safety, recovery, and simply making it through each day.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>As a result, we’ve fallen behind on rent, utilities, and basic necessities. We’re doing everything we can to rebuild our stability, but the financial weight of this tragedy has become too heavy to carry alone.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>We’re asking for help—not because it’s easy to do, but because healing has already taken so much out of us. Any amount you can give will go directly toward:

</div>

<div>    •    Catching up on overdue rent

</div>

<div>    •    Covering essential bills

</div>

<div>    •    Transportation to medical and therapy appointments

</div>

<div>    •    Restoring some stability after months of fear, pain, and uncertainty

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>This event has left scars we are still trying to work through, but we believe in the kindness of community and the power of support. If you’re able to donate, share this campaign, or simply send us love and encouragement, we are deeply grateful. Every bit truly helps us move one step closer to safety, stability, and healing.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for taking the time to read our story and for supporting us during the most difficult period of our lives.
